Mark Xistris has over two decades of experience working closely with healthcare providers, developing strategic and innovative provider relationships with the goal of achieving improved cost and quality outcomes for patients. Mark has in depth knowledge of managed care contracting and health care analytics. He served on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Health Information Organization, Wisconsin’s all-payer claims database, from 2005 to 2017 and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Access Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center and safety-net provider in Madison and other southern Wisconsin communities.
As CAO, Mark will lead CGHC’s provider relations, information technology, and business analytics functions. Mark most recently served as the Vice President of Provider Relations at Wisconsin Physicians Service Health Insurance Corporation (WPS). Prior to that Mark worked for The Alliance, a Madison based cooperative, where he was responsible for the provider relations, cost and quality measurement, and business development functions. He has also worked for UW Health. Mark has a BS in Accountancy (ASU) and Master of Accountancy with a Health Care Fiscal Management concentration from UW-Madison. Mark has 3 children and is an avid skier, volunteering with the National Ski Patrol at Devil’s Head.
