As Vice President of Quality Improvement, Steve Pream is responsible for the organization’s compliance and accreditation from NCQA and overseeing the medical management operations at CGHC. He is a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry specializing in health insurance program design and implementation. He has extensive background in various fields of clinical specialty including ICU, PICU, NICU, pediatrics, infectious disease, dialysis, hospice, disease management, case management, and home care for ventilator dependent populations. Steve also has more than 20 years of health plan experience in hospital and inpatient facilities management and transition of care management. He recently worked to manage the implementation of an Accountable Care Organization product for a large national insurer and has also implemented and managed the medical management and quality programs for another Affordable Care Act based Cooperative Health Plan. Steve has also been a private consultant providing health plan strategic development and management of a medical management line of service products for national self-insured clients.
