HOW TO ENROLL
Small businesses are the backbone of Wisconsin’s economy, and taking care of them is a critical aim of Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative’s mission. We offer a variety of small business health insurance plans, all of which come along with an EPO network, an urgent and emergent care travel network, and options for employees living outside of our service area. We are local and are committed to supporting you 100%.
As an employer, you can choose the benefit plan that is the right fit for your organization or, through our dual choice options, you can let your employees decide. We offer plans to businesses that meet the definition of small employer under Wisconsin law, which means they average between two and 50 employees throughout the year (not including seasonal workers).
Small businesses can apply for coverage any time, all year. Click here to view a summary of our small group plans. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us at 855.494.2667.
IF YOU WORK WITH A BROKER, CONTACT THEM!
Your broker can explain benefits, our provider network and premium rate option in our group health plans. They can also assist you with your application. If you do not have a broker, we can provide a list of licensed brokers that work in your area. There is no cost to you when you choose to work with a broker.
OUR SALES TEAM CAN HELP
You can learn more about our small business plans and request a quote by calling our Sales department at 855.494.2667. Our mission is service above sales, and can help you understand all of the options available to you to help take care of your employees.
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR TAX CREDITS?
Your small business group may be eligible for a small business tax credit that can make your small group health coverage more affordable. If you have fewer than 25 employees, you can visit healthcare.gov (https://www.healthcare.gov/small-businesses/choose-and-enroll/tools-and-calculators/) to find out if you are eligible. To gain access to the tax credit, you must purchase health insurance through the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) Marketplace. SHOP is available to businesses with 50 or fewer full time employees. When you use the SHOP Marketplace, you can offer your employees one plan, or let them choose from multiple plans. You can also choose how much you pay toward your employees’ premiums, and whether to offer coverage to their dependents.
